Female Entrepreneurs are the most important result of modern day feminism. Because the word has always been, and continues to be under constant scrutiny, I want to simplify the definition and in doing so, elucidate the role it has played in the propagation of female business persons. A feminist is someone who believes the social, political and economic equality of the sexes. Women today have the freedom to choose, if not completely, but in part what they want to pursue as their academic or economic futures. This has of course led to several women choosing to be investment bankers, business owners and CEO’s of multi-national corporations.

Entrepreneurship is defined by the process of starting a business or other organization. The entrepreneur develops a business model, acquires the human and other required resources, and is fully responsible for its success or failure. Women have made and managed homes with such finesse…
